womxn in tech
I set out to create a logo that reflects the goals of Womxn In Tech, to increase the representation of womxn in technology, strengthen voices, and build a culture of opportunity & advancement. Inclusivity is at the core of the decision to use womxn, instead of women.
This logo illustrates the power of womxn, and the power of having a community that is supporting one another. Its strong, bold and ready to be heard.
I developed a symbol that is universal, easy to recognize and is a nod to the tech industry, the power button. It very clearly demonstrates the power of each member as well as the collective group.
Student Stories
Working closely with Product Marketing, Growth and our Customer Engagement Manager, we created a student stories section on Tophat.com. The goal was to build a hub to share motivating and moving stories of how Top Hat impacts students' learning experiences. We wanted each page to feel as unique as the stories themselves to do this we gave each story their own illustration style while still working in a definined content template I created.
