As businesses and our clients re-open amid the COVID-19 pandemic, employers are looking for ways to monitor and stay apprised of their staff’s health.
The currently available COVID-19 screening methods vary from plain-text emails, anonymous online surveys, or in-person questioning. These existing methods provide no data, insights, or follow-up as it relates to an individual’s responses.
Employers (our clients) are looking for a way to ensure the safety of their employees returning to work, while simultaneously capturing and consolidating useful, actionable data on their staff’s health.
Summary:
We created a daily digital screener that allows employees to
determine if they’re safe to return to the workplace.
Users receive a daily email with a link to the screener - and after
filling out a short series of questions, they’re instructed how to proceed into the office safely.
Walkthrough:
The email takes users to our platform and grants them access to
the screener.
Each user has a specific code, which contains information about the organization, work location, and department that the user belongs to.
This code is essential for data analysis for their employer, providing insights at a granular level.
Users answer a series of simple yes or no questions about their health.
(based on the COVID-19 self-assessment in Ontario*)
The answers to the questions and the selected symptoms (if any)
takes the user to one of three result screens.
Result Screens:
Clear to return to work
(no symptoms or recent contact risk)
Recommended self-isolation
(if user reports symptoms or is at-risk)
Visit emergency room
(if user reports critical symptoms)
Clear to return to work screen contains step-by-step, customized instructions for the user to enter the office safely.
Recommended self-isolation
screen allows users to notify their employers know that they are at risk and they’ve been instructed to self-isolate.
Notification:
The employer contact is then immediately notified via email that
this employee has been instructed to self-isolate.
The email contains information such as the employee’s name, their workplace location and department, and their symptoms.
Dashboard:
The employer also has access to a customized dashboard that showcases all data related to their organization.
Important metrics like screener completions, results by department or location, and most common symptoms are generated in reports on the dashboard.
The dashboard provides employers with the data and insights needed to carefully oversee the well-being of their staff as their businesses re-open and continue to operate through these uncertain times.
